Neoclassical ambient · Beauty won't yield to what you know
Neoclassical ambient music for beauty that won't yield to what you know. You know about the pesticides. The synthetic fertilisers, the chemical management, the energy cost of keeping a million flowers alive in rows. You've read the numbers.
You're standing in the field anyway. And the fuchsia is still radiant.
This is the wound this track lives inside: not ugliness, but beauty that persists after knowledge. The tulip fields of the Netherlands, industrially farmed and chemically managed, remain one of the most visually overwhelming sights in the world. They don't become ugly when you know what they are. That's the horror. That's also, somehow, the grace.
The track doesn't resolve this. A shimmer above, a darkness below, something in between, a witness. Listen to the wind move across the flat rows, and notice there are no birds. That silence is the field telling the truth its colours won't. Neither truth wins. You hear the fuchsia. You hear the poison. The music ends, and the field is still there.
Come here when you can't look away from something you know is wrong and still find beautiful.
